Wood chips offer special challenges to screening. The Liwell® Screen Machine has successfully screened the fines from the digester wood chip feed in Canada for 30 years. Pins and fines can be effectively controlled with the Liwell® giving control to the Production personnel that they would not have with a conventional screening machine.
